Senator Richard Blumenthal has launched an investigation into several cryptocurrency ventures linked to former President Donald Trump. The probe focuses on potential pay-to-play schemes and conflicts of interest surrounding Trump-affiliated entities issuing meme coins and NFTs.

Letters were sent to executives at Fight Fight Fight LLC and World Liberty Financial, seeking details about ownership structures of TRUMP meme coin issuer Fight Fight Fight LLC, NFT issuers CIC Digital LLC and Celebration Cards LLC, and intellectual property manager DTTM Operations LLC. The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations is examining whether these ventures improperly benefited from political connections.
